ABOUT DEMETRIA

Born and raised in the Bluegrass State of Kentucky, Demetria is a minister, entrepreneur, and content creator. She is becoming daily, with the help of God. At home, she is a loving daughter, granddaughter, and devoted friend.  Demetria uses her gifts and talents to uplift the kingdom of God and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ whether through song, dance, conversation, or sports. She also wants to empower others. Especially those who feel like misfits. Her message to the world is that they are perfectly imperfect and do not have to conform to society’s standards to live a successful life. She believes every individual possesses something that the world needs, and she strives to help others realize the same. This passion is what drove her to transition from pursuing a degree in Architectural Engineering to a degree in Professional Studies with a concentration in Organizational Leadership; with intention to go to seminary and pursue a doctorate after. 

“I live by Romans 8:18. Like most people, I am an overcomer. Throughout the course of my short life, I have suffered from unexpected deaths of loved ones, abuse, and mental health issues. None of these trials can be compared to the glory God will reveal in and through me. I am nothing but a vessel. It is my heart’s prayer that someone will look at my life, be inspired, find hope, and find the unconditional love of God the Father. If I have impacted just one life through a smile, a word, a song, or in some way, then I’ve done my job.”
